Currently retailing in Kenya for between Ksh 71,000 and Ksh 90,000, it is designed to replace the “SE” philosophy with modern aesthetics. It features the powerful A18 chip, the same processor found in the standard iPhone 16, which brings Apple Intelligence to a more affordable price point. With a 6.1-inch OLED display and a durable aluminum-and-glass build, it’s a compact powerhouse for those who want the latest iOS features without the “Pro” price tag.

Flagship Power in an “Essentials” Package

The iPhone 16e is essentially a “stealth flagship.” By using the A18 chip, Apple ensures this phone is not left behind in the AI revolution. It supports Apple Intelligence, allowing Kenyan users to use tools like Visual Intelligence (to identify objects or places via the camera) and advanced photo editing. Despite being the “budget” model, it handles AAA gaming titles and heavy video editing just as well as the standard iPhone 16.
